I don't understand people sometimes. I asked a question to *theonlyredbaroness the other day regarding her gallery. She answered. Very curtly (though my question was more than polite, especially since it was a very delicate subject) the end of the first note was - and I quote exactly - "Thanks!! I definitely don't intend this note out of any weirdness, I am just genuinely curious about it." I sent a note back via my phone, saying thanks for answering and again, please don't take offense I wasn't trying to start a fight (because I'm sure she gets a lot of crap about it) but it didn't go through. I wander over today to try and figure out why and I found out I was blocked.
wtf?
Granted, it doesn't impact my life in any way, shape, or form, but really? How immature can you get? Someone asks you to clarify something you said out of polite interest and you block them? Surprising. And sad. People aren't capable of holding conversations anymore. That frightens me. I'm really just more frustrated about the assumption on her part that I was trying to be an asshole. Because, duh, I'm definitely NOT the kind of person who goes around and starts fights with strangers for fun. That's what I have younger siblings on facebook for. lol. Flame wars should be kept in the family.

Anyhow. In other news, expect to see some Harry Potter art coming out. I still don't obsess over it (because the last two books ruined the series completely) but I had an audition with the Museum of Science and Industry the other day for the world premier of the Harry Potter exhibit. So needless to say, I've got HP on the brain. We had to speak in a british dialect of one form or another (though the lady on the phone just told me RP. I get there and find out I could have just used my Irish) and we did some reading from the set scripts and for the callbacks we played improv games. It was glorious. I'll know within the week whether or not I am offered the job. It's $12.50 an hour and the exhibit runs through september. Ka-Ching! Plus I'd get to wear fun costumes and speak in a British accent all summer long. And get to work at my favorite museum in the world.
Brilliant!
